Payment Options
The City of Appleton City offers a variety of convenient payment options for our residents. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.
Payment By Mail
If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.
Automatic Bank Draft
The worry-free way to pay your bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. Stop in at City Hall to fill out necessary form if interested in this method of payment. (This service is ONLY available through the local Community 1st Bank and St. Clair County State Banks at this time.)
Payment Drop-off Location
You may pay your bill in person at our office address. We accept cash, check, or money orders. To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy. A drop box is also located under the glass enclosed bulletin board located on the front of the building for your convenience.
Payment by Credit Card
A this time you can only pay with a credit card by signing up for Frontdesk. You can reach this by going through our payment option portal on this site. You will need to create an account which will then let you use a credit/debit card, or echeck. You will have the option of paperless billing and auto pay also once your account is created.
